From Glen A. Larson, the genius TV producer who brought us The Six Million Dollar Man and Quincy. This show starts off great, with super creepy theme music, as the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew run through some weird scale model maze and a montage of book covers. As the credits end the announcer speaks, and you hold your breath, hoping it will be a Hardy Boys episode, and Not an (ugh) Nancy Drew.
I hate waiting an entire week (or two if they show a Nancy Drew episode) to get my Hardy Boys fix, so I record the episodes on my sweet portable cassette tape recorder, and add narration as I watch. Then I can listen to the episodes again and again, and replay the images in my mind.
